The faculty of the Center for Cyber Defense & Forensics comes to Tiffin University from the real world. Our faculty have worked in the military, law enforcement, homeland security, international security, and private industry, allowing them to bring that knowledge and experience to the classroom. They are active in consulting in and maintain real connections to their areas of expertise, which adds to the real engagement and immersion into the study cyber security in the classroom.

Sean Glieberman, Executive Director

Professor Glieberman is a cyber executive with 20 years of leadership experience in the public and private sectors. He served over a decade in the Department of Defense, most notably in a COO capacity at the NSA Threat Operations Center (NTOC). A Fellowship recipient and graduate of the Executive MPA program at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. Most recently, a CEO at a cybersecurity startup company headquartered in Israel. Currently serving as Executive Director of the Center for Cyber Defense at Tiffin University and Professor of Cyber Law and Ethics and Cyberwarfare in the School of Science, Technology and Health.

Professor Andy Groman began with Tiffin University in the fall of 2022 as an instructor for the School of Criminal Justice in the areas of Cyber Defense and Digital Forensics. Before academia, Andy has worked a variety of different jobs that have allowed him to develop a wealth of knowledge to pass on to students entering the field. Outside of the University, he has many different passions and interests that keep him involved in the community. Andy also is an avid fan of baseball as well as he is active with many activities around campus including serving as a Faculty Advisor for the hacking club.
